Happy Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day, to Grammie Harty, Grandma Lyn, Grandma Ida, and Grandma Mavis. If you look on here early, you'll see your present. Look for them to either be delivered to you, mailed to you, or picked up at your local rite-aid!
We love you and are glad that you are a part of our lives!

Risk

What a fun Suday evening we had. We started at 6pm with all the kids, but it was clear the the 2 little ones wouldn't be able to finish the game with us.
We put Eme, Joe, and Jim to bed at about 7:15, and let the big kids stay up and continue with the game. We took over Eme and Joes armies, and continued to play. What a fun game.
This is where we took pictures of the board, to put it away and finish the game later. It was 9pm, and too late for little kids who needed their sleep for school the next day to finish. Tom was a very good and lucky roller. Poor Jacob was not. I think that Tom was sapping all of Brents good luck away, and Jacob was sapping all of my bad luck away.

Emeline Loves Strawberry Shortcake

Eme is such a girlie girl, for having 4 brothers. Here she is, eating cake and ice cream on Dad's birthday, and again, sitting on Mom's new bed. Isn't she cute!

Piltcher Park Pictures
Today was our first day walking again. We had to take off the winter, because it's so cold up here in Chicagoland! But spring has sprung, and we're ready to get back on track with our exercising. It's so much fun!
We were at Piltcher Park today, walking on one of their many walking trails. I carry Jim on my back, and Brent pushes the big kids in the stroller. The biggest kids are already at school. It takes more advanced planning to bring them too. We have to leave the house at 7am for them to come also. Maybe in the next few days!
Eme and Joe get to ride in the stroller for our walks. We need to teach Eme how to ride her bike, so that Jim can move out of the back pack and into the stroller.
Here's Dad, ready to push those turkey kids all around the park. Good thing he's so strong!

Little Baby Daddy?

OK, this is weird. This is what happens when you have 5 kids and a husband who works late into the evening, and there's nothing good on TV. Isn't it funny though. I was switching out backgrounds on a picture of Tom and Joe, and Jacob wanted me to do one for him. I thought that this would be a riot!

Money, Money, Money, Money
Tom is always telling us that he loves money. He even wrote a song about how he wanted to be a billionaire.
He would really do well as a rich guy. He hates working, and chores, and anything hard. He'd really like to just like to be rich and hang out with his money all day long. Silly boy.

Cheese, Broccoli, and Carrots

OK, I must admit, Jimmy likes food. He's gobbeled down everything that we've ever given to him. We finally found something that he doesn't like. It's a Stage 3 food, so that may have had something to do with it, but he gagged, and spit, and whinned, and made funny faces. So we relented, and dumped it. He seemed much happier with his rice cereal and juice. Silly boy.

I'm Mad Mom

Mom! I'm mad and I want you to pick me up right now, and to feed me, and to hold me, and to not do what you want to do, but to do what I want you to do!

Photoshop Kids

I just love my Photoshop Home Edition. It has so many errors, and it doesn't often work, but I know how to work it. I really would like to take a real Photoshop class, so that I knew how to use the real one, but they'll be time for that later! For now, enjoy these nice colored pictures of my kids.

Yet Another Picture of Tom

This is the same picture of Tom, but done in pencil. He thought that it was cool. We had to mess with the specifics of the program though. When we first tried it, he looked black. Hehehe
