Season Poems / Stories

Here are some poem written by Jacob Harty in Literature class. Good job, Jacob!

Summer

There we go to the pool.
Splash, like someone dropped a cannon ball.
Uh-oh! Something happened.
WATER FIGHT!!!
Splash! Look out, incoming water!

So close, almost hit me.
I'm going to end this with a cannon ball.
BOOM! Everyone gets splashed,
and I win!

Darn lunch time, but there's hambergers,
from the grill.
Pools fun but hamburgers win!
So long!

Autumn

In summer, the air feels like a volcano.
In fall, the leaves fly through a glade in the forest.

Winter

Winter is a ballerina.
It glides through the forest.
It flies on the yetties breath,
Over the trees
And spreads snow gracefully on the trees,
houses, and me.

Spring

In spring, the rain feels like
a thousand rampaging bees on the move.
It sounds like the thunder
of the oncoming storm.
The storms are like
the claw of the dragon,
tearing all in sight.

Spring

Spring is like a baby,
Tame and sweet.
Spring is like the princess,
Fair and just.
Spring is like a mother,
Gentle and loving.
