Here are my kids, right before church on Sunday. We decided to take some nice outside pictures while it was sunny. A few minutes later, we found out that the truck battery was dead, that a light in it was left on the night before. Luckily our friends from church had not yet left, so they were able to come and give us a jump. Thanks goodness for friends!

Civil War Days At Minooka

So, here we all are! Isn't it cool. There was a man who was taking photographs to enter a "Matthew Brady" look-a-like contest. Matthew Brady was a photographer durning the civil war era. He thought that our family would make a good picture.

Jimmy and the Ice Cream

This was the funniest thing. Jimmy had a big piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream on his plate for Eme's Birthday. He picked up the whole scoop of ice cream, and started in. He at until his fingers were frozen. Then he started to scream. He didn't put it together that the ice cream was hurting his hands. We had to shake the ice cream from his hands, then he instantly picked it up and ate it again. Funny funny kid.

Birthday Loot

Eme got a lot of presents for her birthday. She got 4 big My LIttle Ponies, 10 or so little ones, a Care Bear checkers game, a Little Pets shop, a My Little Pony Cotton Candy shop, 2 stuffed Care Bears, a new dress, a new Care Bear jammie dress, a Barbie plate, a Strawberry Shortcake puzzle, a little porcelin tea set, and some small princess dolls. Thats enough toys for 3 kids! She was so pleased.

Eme's 5th Birthday

The day has finally come! Back when we thought we were gonna move in March or April, we didn't want Eme to tell everyone, so we told her to tell everyone about her birthday instead. Well, we've heard nothing except her birthday for the last 7 months. Note to self. Have her think of something else besides birthdays!

Well, she came out like a bandit on her birthday. We took 17 dollars and went to the thrift store. You'd be amazed at how many toys you could get there! She was so excited.
