Poke Cake

Yes, it would have been better to take a picture before all but the last piece was taken, but this is what you get. Either way, it was totally tasty!

Poke Cake

1 package cake mix (baked in 2- 9 inch round pans, cooled)
2 packages jello (2 different colors)
1 container Cool-whip

After you cakes are cooled, poke holes in them with a fork, about every 1/2 inch. Lots of holes :)

Boil 1 cup of water, and 1 package of jello. Dissolve, then pour over 1 cake. Repeat with 2nd box of jello and 2nd cake.

Refrigerate for 3 hours.

Remove cakes from cake pans. Lay 1st cake on cake plate. Frost the top with cool-whip. Place 2nd cake on 1st cake. Frost both cakes with remaining Cool-whip.

Refrigerate for another hour. Enjoy! Your kids will love it!
