Cub Scout Chefs

Check us out! We made chef hats, then made "magic cookies". The boys had fun. We also played "Name that Smell", "Hot Potato", and planted a seed of something we eat (radishes) (ok, so we don't eat them often!).

Tom, Jared, Bethany, Emeline, Joseph, Jacob, Enrique, Cataline, Jim

Magic Cookies

1 box cake mix, any flavor
1 egg
4 Tbsp melted butter

Mix together to make a workable dough. Form into balls, place on greased cookie sheet. Press. Top with M&M's. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

I'm sure Jake will look back on his silly faces that he tends to make in pictures with great delight. I know I will!

I took dixie cups, and filled them with different foods. Then, I put a piece of a paper towel over them, and rubber banded them down. Cut small slits in the top. The kids had to guess what food was inside.

we had garlic, onion, ranch, banana, spaghetti sauce, mustard, molassas, and peanut butter. They didn't have a clue about molassas. Didn't even know what it was when we took off the lid :) they thought the garlic was onions too. But the others they guessed close or right on. It was kinda fun.

I doubt I could pick out molasses either.

I always get a kick out of Jacob's goofy faces.

EDIT: I wanted to just edit my prior post, but couldn't oh well.
